These panes are common white glass panes, usually of very small thickness (2mm) which are subjected to chemical surface treatment. The property they acquire after this treatment is that they have an excellent anti-reflective effect when in contact with the subject to be observed. They provide clear vision, free from the undesirable reflections that usually distort the image we are looking at.
